Games Convention 2008

Il Games Convention è considerata oramai come l'erede naturale in chiave europea dell’Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) di Los Angeles.
Il Games Convention 2008 si terrà in Germania, esattamente nella città di Lipsia dal 20 al 24 agosto 2008.

All'edizione 2007 del Games Convention hanno partecipato 185.000 persone tra addetti del settore e pubblico, mentre nell'anno precedente l'affluenza era stata di 183.000 partecipanti. 503 società espositrici hanno fatto parte dell'evento, contro le 374 dell'anno precedente, e hanno riportato le novità oltre 3.000 giornalisti provenienti da 46 nazioni differenti. Il 43% di coloro che hanno partecipato provengono dal di fuori dei confini della Germania, mentre questo valore l'anno scorso si attestava su un misero 24%.

Si tratta al momento solo di un rumor che deriverebbe da una fonte vicina a Rockstar e indica la presenza di Grand Theft Auto IV in versione PC all'interno della Games Convention di Lipsia della prossima settimana (da 20 a 24 agosto).
Non sono stati resi noti dettagli riguardo a ciò che verrebbe effettivamente mostrato, non possiamo che attendere pochi giorni per scoprire se il rumor sia fondato.
